I think all of those folks could
be useful additions to the management committee.

I am open to Phil on the BOD if he wants. I think Ben would
be a great addition to the Management Committee, also I would like to add Jason
Baliban and Larry Bugg to the list of people to consider. Larry Bugg has only
been a member for a short while, but he was a tremendous asset to me at AGA2K8
and still says, "count me in!" for the next event. Also Efren is on
the management committee as a PAPAS representative, but if he wants to stay on
after PAPAS' membership expires I applaud that as well.

Likewise., I hope you don’t think I was overstepping my
boundaries, but I invited Ben Van Dinther to join the Management
Committee. He also worked very hard on the convention on a number of
fronts, and has expressed an interest in becoming more involved in the “work”
of AGA… I don’t think we can afford to turn away that kind of enthusiasm!
Cheryl and I started to have a conversation at the convention about other
people whom we might want to ask to join the MC, but then work got in the way
of finishing the conversation!<g> Do any of you have any other
names to put forth? This is the time to “catch” people, when enthusiasm
is still high from the convention!
