A. cacatuoides.

Hello everyone.

Rearding female cacatuoides, normal variability excluded, can anybody tell
me an average size (cm) for reaching sexual maturity. I bought a pair a
month ago. The male is about 6 cm long and hopefully fully matured. The
female is only about 2.5 cm. They seem to be together all the time and have
seen often the male displaying to the female by extending the fins and
shaking the tail next to her. The female then changes colouration becoming
more yellowish and the transversal mid black line along the whole body
almost dissapears leaving a solitary black spot around the middle of the
body. The female seems to be digging everywhere specially under a couple of
wooden logs or even underneath the internal biological filter but she nevers
seems to be happy and no eggs have yet materialise.....
