Re: apisto with intestinal worms

aren't chironomid midge larvae glassworms and not bloodworms?

I am reminded this because I had an infestation of midges in my fishroom as
the temperature started to rise. Presumably this came from the box of live
glassworms sitting in the garage.

Incidentaly, I have never had any problems with frozen worms (or any other
frozen food) but I know that shipping of frozen food to retail outlets is not
always carried out in a punctual manner -- thawed and re-frozen food is not a
good situation

I have had a parisitic infection afflicting apistos from feeding the live
glassworms though. treatment with "Clout" did the trick
