I've found that Malaysian trumpet snails don't bother with fry and moms keep
them away from the spawning site.  These snails do eat fungused eggs if the
mother fish abandons them though.  They are not aggressive enough to go
after the live eggs.  I don't know about other snails because I don't have
enough of them.
