Corys being sensitive to salt is an "old wives tale". They are maybe a little more sensitive than scaled fish but not by much. My question is why use salt for ich?. The amount needed to affect ich parasites will probably stress your fish & plants. You would be much better off raising the temperature to 30ºC (85ºF) and keeping the tank dark for a few day. Corys supplement their air intake with atmospheric air they swallow. Increase aeration to the water for other fish. Your plants should be able to handle 3-4 days without light. Mike Wise "S.
