Re: Books on Diseases?



The manual of Fish Health is not bad, I am afraid I haven't found a book I
am really pleased with yet....we have gotten several.  Nothing
fantastic...haven't tried the one Mark Barnett just listed...that may be
next.  It would be interesting to hear from everyone else on the list on
this one.  At ACA in St. Louis they had a fish disease talk....it was
interesting, the main point was.....good water...good water...good
water...and don't treat unless you know what you are treating.  I don't
think fish diseases are even close to approaching an exact science, still
feels like voodoo to me.  Even regular medicine is not an exact
science...but thank goodness we have a lot more research and evidence to
treat people effectively.  Now we just need that for fish!!  Any vets out
there with good advice??
