I'm considering getting a couple of apistos or other dwarfs, and am looking for advice. Based on my research, the best fit for my local tapwater is A. cacatuoides. Unfortunately, beyond seeing a couple in a local PetSmart a month ago, I can't find them. Kribs seem to be pretty common around here, but will they do OK in water with a dKH of 8? The tank I want to put them in is already set up for cacatuoides -- flower pot caves, plants, as dark a gravel as I could find. Will this work for kribs? -- crawford@iac.net "If you want a functional site, don't go to a glamour design shop." -- Jakob Nielsen ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the apistogramma mailing list, apisto@listbox.com.
