Indeed the 221* is the old type of cylindrial Ehiem (Ehiem call it a 
'classic'!) which is still in production. 222* is the new 'professional' 
box shape Ehiem which is much nicer to use because it comes 
complete with removable media compartments. The professional 
series also comes in a number of flavours - themo,wet/dry etc. As 
to online procurment of said filters I live England and would assume 
that shipping cost may be a bit excessive

P.S. Has anyone seen the mail message (breeding rams) I posted  
on 15/11 - would I be correct in assuming that because the 
message was never sent to me from the apisto list that it never 
made it to apisto@listbox.com?
