Re: "Tibba" Apistogramma

I am the same way. Every time someone says "Has anyone heard of
Apistogramma sp "xxxx", I picture Mike getting out this little weathered
notepad and scribbling down the name muttering some latin curseword under
his breath. I think exporters sit in front of their tanks, have a few adult
beverages and start giggling out names like teenagers knowing they are
tormenting poor Mike.

Poor, Mike! Every time I see a new Apisto 'trade name' cross the list I
can't think that he's fighting a losing battle. Although eventually the
names will be sorted out, lumped, split, lumped again, etc. Then
information from Mike's list will be invaluable.

Keep up the great work, Mike.
