No, you're not! The spitting from the hot metal will cause enormous stress on the glass and it will almost certainly crack. The only way would be to do it in reverse and build the frame and then build the tank inside. I've seen what welding does when it comes within spitting distance of glass, it usually doesn't just crack, it explodes. This is not good.
