Re: Apisto Predators



You know... it's too bad this needs to be a "naturally occuring"
predator.
I used to own a fish that behaves in exactly the way you want, but isn't
naturally occuring in apisto biotopes. Anyone ever heard of Oxyeleotris
marmorata (aka Marbled Goby)? Facinating predatory behavior.... from the
patience of the hunt, right to the fatal strike. It also has the "kid in
the candy shop" behavior at first, but settles down and stalks larger
less frequent prey after a while. Another thing that makes em' not fit,
is they get really big. Sorry to be gabbing about something you can't
use, but your description made me remember how facinated I was with this
fish.
