I think the problem is that some people here (particularly AOL users) have HTML email. HTML is that gibberish that sometimes accompanies some people's posts here. It's a code (also used by web browsers) that lets you add neat special effects to your message... but if the people on the receiving end do not have email programmed to read HTML, they get gibberish instead of special effects. HTML in general doesn't work to well on mailing lists. If you are having this problem, maybe try seeing if your email provider will let you turn off your HTML mail. If they do (some won't) then just turn it off before you post to the list. By the way, if you know what all that HTML code means, you can get a good job setting up web sites ;-) I hope this helps (and makes those of you who don't have HTML email more tolerant of those who post gibberish lol!)!
