Interesting. So it's a hoax so the "offending" file should be deleted? I'm
in complete agreement here, Scott. Don't delete ANYTHING in your Windows or
System file unless you know absolutely what you're doing. Note that McAfee
also has instructions to restore this file, so Francine you should probably
not be giving deletion instructions if you (evidently) don't know what
you're asking or instructing others to do.

There are legitimate and acceptable ways to guard against virus attacks or
"infections." There are equally legitimate ways to rid one's system of them
if they find their way to one's hard drive. Panicking and making blanket
statements which might cause others to eliminate important or vital files
unknowingly does not make for good system health nor could it be construed
as being completely responsible.
