OH ... let me see? If I remember correctly I got bit in the very early 70's. ( Stop trying to guess my age!!!). I bought a bag of very colorful fish in an auction without knowing what they were, except that they were very beautiful.. " yes I was a novice!", one of the club member identified them as Aggies.. They were the first Apisto that I kept and almost one of the last for me to breed..( that's a story in itself!!) I have bred almost - "not all" - Apistos that I've kept. Which at the last count was around 28. As Big John said, " I will continue to keep and breed Apistos as long as I can get new stock."
