David, The apisto books I recommend are: American Cichlids I - Dwarf Cichlids - by Horst Linke & Dr. Wolfgang Staeck Also (When the English version comes out) Mergus Cichliden Atlas by Dr Uwe Romer And for picture references - Aqualog - Southamerican Cichlids II Sorry I can't help you on the grindal worm culture but you could add frozen blood worms to your food selection. By the way, most of the time I found females to be more aggressive when they're protecting eggs/fry. Good luck Sal ----- Original Message ----- From: david lim <funkadelic@dog.com> To: <apisto@listbox.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 03, 2001 7:26 PM Subject: Books, and many questions > Hey all, could anyone recommend some good apisto books for a newbie with > apistos?
