West Africans and cross breeding

Besides just being silly with excitement over the upcoming ACA
festivities, I have been pondering setting up a 55g west african tank and
freeing up some tank space for my new aquisitions that hopefully I'll be
getting in NJ. The plans include a pair of the following: Pelv. pulcher,
Pelv subocellatus "Matadi", Pelv. sub. "Anwon Creek", Pelv taen. (haven't
decided which locality yet... either Dehane, Mahone, or Bandurwori), Pelv.
humillius, and N. transvestitus. I think with proper decor and an adequate
amount of plants, caves, and nooks they should all live well. My question
is what are the risks of creating some genetic mutts with that mix. The
pelvs are all pretty closely related. I figure they will pair with their
own first and if a like mate is not available, they would try something
close. And if the risk of crossbreeding is low, I can start keeping 2 pair
per 20L instead of just one ;-)

Any insight or suggestions would be happily absorbed.

See ya all Friday in NJ!!!
