I've never had very good luck getting my apistos to eat flakes, and minimal
success with freeze-dried. I usually use frozen foods(bloodworms, mysis
shrimp, brine shrimp) as the bulk of their diet. I also supplement their
feedings with live blackworms, mosquito larvae, and freshly hatched artemia
nauplii(bbs). My personal favorite for frozen foods is the line of Hikari
brand Bio-Pure frozen foods. Never seen any bloodworms to compare with
theirs.
