sponge filters

I have two things.  First, from anyone who knows, what size "Hydro" sponge 
filter would be good on a 20L w/ plants and (eventually) apistos 
(additionally, what else do I need other than a pump and some tubing)?  
Second, from the killi list, here is a place they claim has really good 
prices on sponge filters   www.4fishstuff.com
