Hye Jason, I use the shoplights on some tanks, but if
you really want to grow plants then do not go for
cheap here. Actually its not really all *that*
expensive if you know where to look. AH Supply is a
WONDERFUL company that sells Compact Flourescent
lighting. I used three of their 96 watt bright kits on
my 125 and without any CO2 I get great plant growth,
almost too good. Some day I might add CO2, but
probably not until I have time to trim the plants.
THey sell a large variety of lighting solutions, and I
can tell you that if you go with them you will not be
disappointed.
