I can't advise you but, sounds like your water doesn't start out too bad. Mine up around 250 TDS here in Philly. I like my unit because I just scoop it out as I need it no waiting. I use to use a Tap Water purifier....man what a wait that was. Then you only get around 35gallons per cartridge.
