Hi Alfredo,

i dont think it's necessary to have mutlipule females for Cacatuoides, howeever all my spawning successes have all been straight after an extra female had been added, i think it just makes the original female think hey i better get in first before this other female does lol... if you dont want to try adding another female you may consider putting a mirror in there for a while, this has worked for Trifaciata, Pandurini and Gibbiceps for me and has a similar effect :-)

Hi all

I have a couple of Apistogramma cacatuoides in a 80L planted tank.
I read a lot about this subject but I'm still in doubt:

May I successfully breed this species without other females, I mean, just
keeping a male and a female.
Will this method be stable?
