Re: Badis sp. "Scarlet"!



I have had similar experiences with the Scarlet Badis. It seems to be quite
different from its relatives, not only in size and color, but also in
spawning strategy. Mine generally spawn in a clump of Java Moss. They
embrace like an anabantid when spawning, and the male then guards the
general area. The eggs don't seem to be arranged, and they certainly have
never gone near a cave.
