hi, i thaught that brine shrimps eggs were to be stored in the dark and in a dry place for best conservation. Wouldn't the freezer bring some humidity and ruine eventually the hatching rate? take care Yvan Alleau 712 N.W Kings Blvd Corvallis, OR 97330 College of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences Oregon State University office (Burt 222) # 737-3649, to be used wisely! yalleau@coas.oregonstate.edu "When you're far from everything, you're getting closer to the essential" -----Original Message----- From: owner-apisto@admin.listbox.com [mailto:owner-apisto@admin.listbox.com]On Behalf Of Liptrot, Pete Sent: Monday, October 22, 2001 2:36 AM To: 'apisto@listbox.com' Subject: RE: Artemia Brand >Can anyone tell me what quality I can expect from such >a product? Grab what you can, it's a very good brand. If you store Artemia cysts in the freezer until use you won't have any worries about them deteriorating in the realistic timespan of usage. Just take out a week's supply at a time in a small tub and keep that in the 'fridge. It will hatch perfectly well straight from the freezer, but there is less chance of you spilling it if you only take it out of the freezer once a week or so.
