That sounds interesting....the dolomite powder that is. It seems funny talking about raising pH on the apisto list. Most I've heard people trying to lower the pH.
I've tried raising pH in a non-apisto tank using RO right from Kent to tap water. It is usually used with RO water to reach a certain TDS level. The problem I've had was using the RO right and getting a higher TDS reading but, the pH not rising anyhow. Wonder why that is....
