I have a full 20 gallon with fry since Mid Dec. and a full 10 gallon with fry since Mid Jan. They are both without parents and have been eating bbs since day one. I also feed golden pearls. Micro Worms, Cyclop-eeze, Vinegar eels, Don't seem to have any problem. The first spawn is getting big fast...
