This one has been by itself for over a year. Would it still have subdominant colouration if this is the case ? Just recently it seems to be changing shape and colour and getting that characteristic sickel-shaped pelvic fins. If I get some females do you think it will speed the development of dominant male characteristics? It is currently in with a trio of A. gibbiceps in a 55g planted tank until I work out what it is. They (the gibbiceps) are much smaller than this one.
