I thought that to be true too. But, Mr. Wise is pretty smart but, if anything I'm still getting them ready for people who won't be using the RO water and stuff I use. Plus in the winter when the RO get cold its cheaper just to add some hot tap water a little Amquel and then the RO just to make it the right temp for the fish.
I read one time the difference between the Freshwater fish and saltwater. I thought the fishes freshwater fishes body was like a filter when taking in the water. I also thought it meant that it got something out of the water other then what it need to breath. But, see it just goes to show you. You don't have to know how to build a car to be successful driving one.<G>
