Jerry,
The only reason I see of adding tap water is to save on RO water use. The fry
will get very little if any minerals directly from the water. Their entire
physiology is designed to keep water from entering. They get the minerals they
need from their food.
I just learned something there Mike. Thanks. I was under the impression
that there were trace elements and stuff like that in the water that the
younger especially needed for growth. Well, I got the food end covered. I make
sure they get a lot BBS and Nice clean black worms when they are big enough. I
also like a lot of the stuff I can get through a wholesaler I know.
Veggies too of course.
Thanks Mike
Jerry
