Hi y'all,
Hi Tomoko,
That's a new one for me, catching male Apistos that way :).I have to ask however, how did you catch the female, with the trap?
I'm glad the trap is working for you.
Max

Hope y'all settled down enough to listen to more light
hearted topic.

I just discovered Max Gallade's bottle trick works very well
to catch male apistos in my heavily planted 75G tank.
Instead of food, I baited the bottle with a voluptuous
female apisto. Within a few minutes I had a large male in
my net whom I have been trying to catch for days without her
help. He was so busy displaying himself like a male
peacock. Too bad it only works for males.

Tomoko
