Thank you. I've kept bettas with guppies before and did not have this
problem that you describe, although at first when I introduced guppies,
betta male was very curious. :)
My other concern would be - do you think this tank is/will be too crowded?

off the top of my head, most of those fish shouldnt be a problem appart from
perhaps the guppies. Some male Betta Splendens can get confused between the
long flowing colourful fins of the male guppies and another male fighting
fish, not good. For the apisto, those fish shouldnt bee too much of a
problem from my (limited) experience
