Sebastian, If your Rams came from Colombia, then they are M. ramirezi - a fish I prefer to call the Orinoco Ram. In this way they aren't confused with M. altispinosus, the 'Bolivian Ram' (also from Brazil & Paraguay). Are your Rams still young? I have found wild Rams take time to 'color up'. The Germans call these young wild Rams "gray mice". After they mature (~ 1 year old) they are truly beautiful fish. By the way, your English is just fine.
