Anything seems possible these days, but like Yvan
I find it unlikely that anyone could get a viable
anything from a cross between 2 so very different
groups of cichlids. I would bet that that it is
more likely to be one of those inbred, genetic
'sports' of M. ramirezi that have been around for
about 10 years. First the had normal fins & a deep
round body. Then they came out with long-finned
Rams. Now it looks like they've come out with a
combination of the two. Personally, they're 'not
my cup of tea', but they probably are not hybrid
abominations like Blood Parrot Cichlids.
