Brian,

Before you throw those old eggs out try soaking them in bleach for about 5
minutes, rinse in fresh water, and then try to hatch them like normal. If the
don't hatch after this then they are dead. You could bleach & feed the eggs,
but I doubt that they have that much nutritional value.
