Yeah, I was thinking the same. I liked the handling of the 5000, but it seems not to be...On the other hand the Canon G2 is selling at 700 Euros, that's 250 Euros cheaper than the Coolpix4500. What would you go for. I too would love an SLR but can't justify doubling my budget.
