The male badis is guarding fry as we speak...
They loved the live blackworms and brineshrimp. Infact they spawned on the
first day. My water is PH 6.7 and like 20ppm hardness

Ps: what should i do with the babies, there are pencil fish and tetras in

Coby,
If you are feeding mostly live (or frozen) foods & the water is moderately
soft, I would expect that you will see the male Badis pop out of a cave
with
fry sometime soon.
