This is why you have to check what kind of peat you buy to use... alot
of plant places sell peat moss with additives... this can cause ammonia
spikes because ammonia nitrate is a fertilizer besides other qualities..
Canadian Peat Moss, not just sphagnum peat moss , dont usually add these
additives to their peat moss.... They just have nice peat moss, Eh???
