Those ancistrus shouldn't bother to much, as long as they
have some algae or veggies to eat. I have 2 ancistrus in a 60 with my cacs
and they have raised fry, 2 in my 38 and the hognei have successfully raised
fry. Both females escorting fry have driven off the ancistrus when they
have been too close.
