ROFL -----Original Message----- From: owner-apisto@admin.listbox.com [mailto:owner-apisto@admin.listbox.com]On Behalf Of Max Gallade Sent: Friday, October 11, 2002 11:39 AM To: apisto@listbox.com Subject: Re: German Blue Rams/ Wild Caught... Hey Jerry, They are offsprings of the Giant German Blue Ram. Some crazy German breeder released them into the local Northrhine Westphalian rivers.I think it was that dude from the Sauerland that fled to California. He's on this list.I believe he also bred or better said created that Schalke 04 Apisto which surfaced around the beginning of April in Germany. The Rams made it in to the Rhein (Rhine) river. From there they swam downstream into the Northern Sea.Crossed the Atlantic and just like Salmon found their way home back into the Llanos of Venezuela.Soon, they started to mingle and breed with the local wild Ram population. There you have it.That's why they call them Wildcaught German Blue Rams. This explains the high prize tag, too.The F1 's are called Mikrogeophagus ramirwalter. How's that for an explanation from another crazy German:) Have a great weekend all Max Visit "The Digital Aquarium" and L&M Tropicals at: http://clix.to/Apisto or at http://www.apisto.bravepages.com E-mail: mgallade@hotmail.com >From: JerrCarol@aol.com >Reply-To: apisto@listbox.com >To: apisto@listbox.com >Subject: German Blue Rams/ Wild Caught... >Date: Fri, 11 Oct 2002 10:58:16 EDT > >Hey folks, > something in my logic doesn't ring true here.
