Re: live foods for apistos

Francine,

I like LFS Cultures for my live food supplies.

A large size grindal worm culture of theirs comes in a white
plastic freezer container (not the smallest size but the one
size up), the type commonly sold at the canning supply
section in every supermarket. They are packed in peat moss
and very clean. Another place I tried sent me less for the
similar price. They multiply pretty quickly but I suppose
you can get a lot more from your friend for the same price,
provided your friend has a large thriving and clean culture
of worms.

Hope this helps,

Tomoko
