You might try Phyllanthus fluitans. Tropica  claims it grows best in very soft to moderately soft water. It grows well (even flowers) for me in moderately soft water (hardness 110ppm TDS approx 200uS) You do need bright light though. In strong light the new leaves are reddish. Plus, they have quite long roots Excellent for killies. A great little plant.
