Are the fins as large as they are on A. uaupesi?
eric, the yellow one with the yellow spot on the side is surely a female. Males have way longer fins,. Especially the dorsal fin is very high and is elongated. I have a piar here that breed a couple times. THe male has a wound on its side now and i hope it will go well soon. You surely will enjoy watching the male when they display to each other: they have such a high surface of fins compared to their body size! take care

Hello all,
I received 4 A. iniridae last week. After looking at them for a while I
have the sinking suspicion that all 4 are females. Does anyone know how to
sex them? The one that is slightly larger I am pretty sure it is a female.
It turns yellowish, and gets a black spot on it's side. Any help will be
appreciated.
Thanks, Eric
