What an analogy Eric. I never move the fish from where they spawn. I do
eventually take out the parents but, I like to leave them together as long as
possible. My take on the nutrients well, I was always under the impression
that it comes from the food they eat and not the water they live in. As the
fry get bigger I will do water changes with dechlorinated tap. I believe it
makes it easier for other people who buy the fish and don't use RO units as
some of us do. Oh well....just thought I'd add another slant.
