I always thought it was the other way around, that plants in a tank
would cause your pH to go down..... at least they do in my tanks.....
the pH in my planted tanks is muchhhh lower then the pH in my non
planted tanks.... I cant remember, but i thought that by driving off
CO2 you caused your pH to go down... Plants thrive on CO2 which is why i
thought the pH in my planted tanks was lower then that of my barebottom
tanks....
