I had some very pretty guttata that I collected in Venezuela. The published
pictures did not do justice to these fish. They spawned like crazy at first.
However the F1's would not spawn for me. Several others that I shared these
fish with had a similar experiance.
I collected these fish on two different occasions. Unfortunately they live
in a very restricted area and on my second trip, the river was very degraded
in quality and the number of fish was much less.
If Venezuela ever becomes a safe place to travel to again, these fish will
definitley be a target.
