Re: Easier Apistos To Start With - Suggestions

Mike,

I looked at your apisto photos. They look more like Red-shouldered/Red-back Macmasteri to me. Either way they are nice fish.

Morning -

I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the advice on some of the 'easier'
apisto species to start out with. I picked up 6 Apisto. Viejita II at the
Minnesota Aquarium Society auction this weekend. Looks like I have 3 pairs
right now.

Unfortunately with only a 20 gallon long tank I am sure things will get
messy soon. So now one has beat up anyone else. Just some great displays
from the one big male at times. I am sure in a few weeks I will end up
taking some of the fish into the LFS. Maybe keep 1 male and 2 females and
turn in the rest to find a new home.

I took some photos and placed them on my site in the photo gallery.

Again thanks for the help.
