To elaborate a bit on Mike's point about confusion between milli and micro
For those who like to know these things, on most character sets the micro
symbol can be quickly brought up by hitting both the ALT key and typing 0181
on the number pad. The degree sign is ALT and 0176.
Or you can wade through the character map :)
