OK Apisto 'goofs'...........I include myself.......serious question. The sex
ratio of your spawns. According to Dave Soares and Uwe Romer(Germany) and some
others.........them the sex ratio of apisto's is affected by pH. My A.
cacatoidies (watch my spelling all the time....unintentional I assure you) were
spawning very successfully at a pH of oh about 7.7-7.8 and the the sex ratio
was 98% males.......fine for the local fish shops but????????? I had 8-10
spawns.....some of them huge, maybe 125-150, but the ratio stayed the same.
Have some of you folks followed your spawns long enough to determine the sex
ratio and the pH of your water.......RO or tap water!..........Thanks in
