Dwarf cichlid breeders/ suppliers?

Hi!  I am new on this list, and I am interested in Apistogramma and other
Dwarf cichlid suppliers.  I am living near the LA area and I am having a
tough time finding anything locally.  This is probably due to the fact that
our water is basically liquid rock here!  (I am using RO water, peat, etc).
 I just started my tank, with a few cardinal tetras, rummy nose tetras and
some aquatic plants.  I want to give it a few weeks to cycle before
introducing any new fish ( I seeded the tank with some established gravel
from another tank).  Anyway, if anyone can be of any help, please e-mail me,
or post on the list.  Thanks.  Also, any general comments about receiving
"fish in the mail" would be appreciated, as I have never purchased fish this
way this before.
