Venezuelan fish
Update report on the fish I brought back from Venezuela.
The Apisto caught along the southern border of the Orinoco Delta matches
best with A. hoignei "goldhead". They have colored up nicely with red in
the caudal a gold head and blue body.
The A. guttata have spawned. Hardness of 50 ppm and a pH of 4.6. Other
trios are set up. Hopefully they will maintain the color of the wild fish.
The Rams have spawned and there is a cloud of fry being herded about the
tank by the parents. They are eagerly accepting baby brine shrimp.
