The Chinese Algae Eater is the one that is reported to be aggresive as it
gets larger.
One thing that you might try is to rotate a pleco through your tanks. It
shouldn't take too long for a medium size pleco type to clean up a tank,
then it can be removed to allow normal home life for your Apisto's to
continue.
